Work Environment\n

This position offers a primarily remote work setting with flexibility in scheduling while allowing you to serve clients either in their homes or at our outpatient facility. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions in-home or within our outpatient center to facilitate therapeutic engagement.

• Provide group therapy targeting specific issues such as anger management, coping strategies, and the development of social skills.
\n
• Address high-risk behaviors, including self-injurious behaviors and physical aggression, through evidence-based interventions.
\n
• Enhance decision-making skills for both youth and caregivers, aiming to effectively manage behavioral challenges within the home setting.

• Collaborate closely with the Child Family Treatment Team and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including intakes, treatment plans, and progress notes, submitted within established timelines.
\n
• Participate actively in monthly team meetings and contribute insightful recommendations to improve service delivery.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily targets children and teens aged 3 to 20 who are facing developmental and intellectual challenges. You will engage with a diverse group of clients, working to overcome unique barriers that affect their emotional and social development. Our therapeutic services are designed to promote positive outcomes and empower families to create supportive environments for their children.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
\n
• Must possess an active and unrestricted LMFT license.
\n
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 5-10 work hours per week during after-school hours from 4 pm to 7 pm, with weekend availability being advantageous.

• Strong skills in providing positive behavior support are essential.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working with children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) is highly preferred.

• Experience in utilizing therapeutic methodologies tailored to youth populations.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for travel to client locations are necessary.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
