Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Avenue Psychotherapy Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their specific needs and goals.

• Leading individual, couple, and family therapy sessions to address a wide array of issues, including but not limited to communication difficulties, grief and loss, and family dynamics.

• Utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities to effectively address challenges such as alcohol abuse, trauma, and adjustment to separation and divorce.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals within our organization to provide an integrated approach to mental health care.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with state regulations and insurance guidelines.

• Staying informed about developments in the field of marriage and family therapy and implementing best practices in your work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client demographic includes adults and adolescents facing various challenges related to relationship dynamics, mental health issues, and life changes. You will play a critical role in facilitating healing for those experiencing struggles such as conflicts among family members, blended family transitions, and coping with grief. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
