Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in labor and delivery according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient status, plan and implement care, monitor outcomes, and document findings accurately.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately and ensure patient safety.
- Coordinate care with obstetric, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams; communicate changes in patient condition effectively.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in clinical scenarios.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California or eligibility to obtain per job notes
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in labor and delivery or obstetric care
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (3 nights per week) in a travel assignment
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills; capable of supervising a diverse nursing team
