Workforce Development Manager

Job Summary: The Workforce Manager will manage a manpower pool of 50-100 team members, ensuring current and future workforce needs are met while developing improvements to existing processes. The role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, confidentiality, and proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office Suite. Key Responsibilities Select new hires and partner with the talent team to ensure a smooth transition into the organization. Act as a coach and developer of talent, improving overall quality of field team members by keeping certifications current, expanding licensing, and increasing awareness of training possibilities. Partner with Talent & Operation teams to optimize recruiting, selection, team member relations, and related topics pertaining to direct reports. Visit various projects to encourage safe and productive behavior. Provide feedback and coaching at management and team member levels to drive retention and enhance performance. Partner effectively with the Workforce Planning and Scheduling team to meet organizational and team member needs. Create and develop positive community relationships to establish a pipeline of prospective team members. Oversee execution and completion of team members’ performance evaluation processes, ensuring effective, fair, and timely evaluations for all field team members. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Minimum Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED with 2 to 4 years of progressive administrative/field experience in the Operations or Construction industry. Education: Associate Degree with 6 months to 1 year of progressive administrative/field experience in the Operations or Construction industry. Travel: 20% of time required. Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; however, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
