MRI Technologist

Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking MRI Technologists to support operations at the San Diego VA Medical Center located at 3350 La Jolla Village Dr, San Diego, CA 92161. Full-time and Per Diem positions with competitive packages are available. Personnel must be familiar with all radiographic diagnostic fluoroscopy, surgery procedures, portable (including C-Arm), and routine general diagnostic exams. Responsibilities Operates a superconductive Magnetic Resonance Imager (MRI), a highly complex computerized imaging device which employs the use of strong magnetic fields and radio waves to acquire images of the entire body, including the brain, neck, spine, chest, body, and extremities Qualifications ARRT(MR) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Fluoroscopy permit (preferred but not required) Familiar with all radiographic diagnostic fluoroscopy, surgery procedures, portable (including C-Arm), and routine general diagnostic exams PACS work experience Agfs PACS work experience (preferred but not required) Two years of current work experience (within the last two years) in specialized modality Demonstrated experience starting Intravenous (IV), and performing contrast injections; IV certification is preferred but not required No sponsorship available Pay Range $43.43 - $59.41 hourly All candidates must be able to Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist Lift up to 20 lbs Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance Push/pull with 30 lbs of force All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. #J-18808-Ljbffr
