AHP, Associated Health Professionals, Inc., a Joint Commission Certified supplemental healthcare staffing agency, is seeking experienced MRI Technologists to support the VA San Diego Healthcare System .

This is an excellent opportunity for MRI Technologists looking for flexible per diem work (Morning, Evenings & Nights)

Position Details

• Position: MRI Technologist
• Location: VA San Diego Healthcare System
• Schedule: Per Diem Shifts Available: Days, Evenings, Nights and Weekends
• Pay Rate: $71.00/hour ($568 per 8-hour shift)
• Flexible per diem scheduling with opportunities to pick up available shifts based on your availability, facility needs, and monthly scheduling.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required for Federal Employment (VA) positions.
• Minimum of two (2) years of current, consecutive MRI experience; hospital experience is preferred.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists MRI (MR) certification.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated experience with IV insertion (venipuncture) and contrast media administration.
• Current Venipuncture/IV Certification required.
• Experience with Siemens 3T and GE 1.5T MRI systems is preferred.
• Experience using PACS and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to caring for Veteran patients.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, pull, and move equipment and supplies in accordance with safe patient handling guidelines.
