Outside Sales Representative

Location : Long Island, NY Queens/Nassau County

Salary Range : $45,000 - $75,000 + Commission (Salary Dependent on Industry Specific Experience) OTE = $100,000+

Must be able to work occasional nights and weekends during busy season, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

JP McHale Pest Management LLC, an Anticimex Company, is one the top professional pest control companies nationwide. Our Long Island Branch is looking for an Outside Sales Representative.

Position Summary:

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for providing a positive customer service experience that leads to improved satisfaction while generating new business for the company.

Responsibilities:

\n
• The Outside Sales Representative will generate both Residential and Commercial Sales for the company through company-generated leads, tech leads, existing clients, outbound prospecting activities (walk ins/telemarketing), Networking and Associations involvement.
\n
• Learn or have previous knowledge of the Pest Management Industry, (Company will provide training) to become proficient at pest management services.
\n
• Conduct thorough inspections both Inside homes and business throughout the Nassau County and other portions of Long Island territory. Areas typically include attics, basements, crawl spaces, commercial kitchens, and varied commercial establishments. Construction background would be helpful to have.
\n
• Identify and propose correct treatment recommendations through written/electronic proposals.
\n
• Perform prospecting activities during slower times to look for sales opportunities throughout Nassau County and other portions of Long Island territory.
\n
• Meet and exceed assigned sales quotas and achieve targeted customer experience.
\n
• Manage the customer through lead generation, pipeline management, organization, effective communication and strong listening skills
\n
• Resolve customer issues quickly and strive to reach resolution on the first call or escalate issues appropriately
\n
• Updates and maintains prospect database and opportunity funnel on a daily basis, assuring management of prospect database and assures customers' orders are fulfilled
\n
• Must be able to work occasional nights and weekends during busy season, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
\n
• Accept and implement coaching and feedback on call management in order to achieve individual and team performance goals.
\n
• Must have a valid NYS driver’s license, at least 3 years of driving experience and good driving skills, as company vehicle will be provided

• Customer service orientation

• Consultative selling abilities designed to provide customer with solutions to meet their needs
\n
• One year of experience with cross-selling, up-selling and/or referring products/services
\n
• Ability to build rapport with customer in a professional and courteous manner
\n
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
\n
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
