Food and Beverage Manager

Union Square Events Position Title Food and Beverage Manager Salary $70,000 to $80,000 Job Summary Founded in 2005 as Hudson Yards Catering, Union Square Events is a culinary and operations leader in the hospitality industry, partnering with a diverse portfolio of best-in-class clients. We produce one‑of‑a‑kind catered events and unparalleled dining experiences in a variety of cultural, corporate, entertainment, and private venues throughout New York City and beyond. You’ll assist in managing all F&B operations, lead and mentor FOH staff, ensure service consistency, and uphold quality and safety standards. You’ll be overseeing service on the floor and working closely with the FOH leadership team to deliver an exceptional guest experience while managing resources efficiently. Key Responsibilities Go above and beyond for all members of the club on a daily basis to provide an exceptional experience. Support daily food service operations in line with budget and quality goals. Oversee service and floor operations, directing and working with all FOH positions. Lead and train associates, focusing on service standards, steps of service, to deliver outstanding hospitality. Assist with weekly scheduling of different departments. Maintain superior food and service standards for members and guests. Build strong relationships with staff, members, and other departments. Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies. Contribute to scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and operational controls. Qualifications At least 4 years of hospitality experience, experience in luxury settings is a plus. At least 1 year of FOH management experience. Strong food and beverage knowledge. Excellent communication, leadership, and team development skills. NYC Food Protection Certificate is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, computer skills.
