Recruitment Coordinator

Our nonprofit client is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting hiring initiatives, keeping processes organized, and helping create a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring teams. This role will partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to support talent acquisition activities from application review through interview coordination. What You'll Be Doing Support day-to-day recruiting operations and hiring activities Review incoming applications and identify candidates who align with position requirements Conduct introductory candidate conversations and gather relevant information for hiring teams Coordinate calendars and logistics for interviews across multiple stakeholders Assist with recruitment communications and candidate follow-up Prepare hiring materials and provide administrative support throughout the recruitment process Track applicant activity and maintain accurate records within recruiting systems Help ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates throughout the hiring process What We're Looking For At least 1 year prior experience supporting recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or staffing functions Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines Excellent communication and relationship-building skills High attention to detail and strong administrative skills Comfort working with recruiting technology and applicant tracking systems Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience Experience evaluating resumes and conducting candidate outreach or screening conversations Exposure to professional, corporate, or technical hiring environments Experience working with applicant tracking systems such as Workable or similar platforms Position Highlights Temporary opportunity with a mission-driven nonprofit organization Hybrid work arrangement in the DMV area Collaborative and supportive team environment Opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while supporting key hiring initiatives If you're a detail-oriented recruiting professional who enjoys helping teams attract and engage top talent, we'd love to hear from you.
