Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting a local daycare center near Sherwood, AR, as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. You'll provide direct, onsite services to a caseload of 36-40 students, making a meaningful impact in early childhood education. This position starts as soon as possible, with coverage needed through May 21, 2027. Your expertise will help empower students’ communication and language development in an engaging educational environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state
• CCC-SLP strongly preferred; will also consider candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Prior school-based or pediatric experience highly valued
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments and evidence-based therapy to students ages infant to preschool
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Document student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to generalize functional communication
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations in all documentation
• Participate in meetings and professional development sessions as required
