Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting K-8 students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist every Friday! This position, located near Glendale, AZ, offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact with a small, focused caseload of just 10 students. Your work will help students develop vital communication skills, enhancing both their educational experience and confidence.

The school year begins with an in-service day on July 20th, with students returning July 30th, and continues through May 21, 2027. Fridays will be your dedicated day onsite, typically covering 8am-12pm, plus time for meetings, documentation, and collaboration.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Arizona state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Skill in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating pediatric speech/language disorders

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech services to a small caseload (K-8, about 10 students), individually and in grouped settings as appropriate
• Conduct 30-minute therapy sessions, typically one per student each week
• Complete thorough evaluations and write clear, measurable IEP goals
• Facilitate SLI-only meetings and contribute actively to regular IEP meetings
• Track student progress, document sessions, and communicate effectively with team members
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
