Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation center, where collaboration and teamwork are paramount. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including rehabilitation specialists, physical therapy assistants, and case managers, to enhance coordination of care. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage physical therapy treatments focusing on pain relief, muscle function restoration, and facilitating maximum performance based on each patient's individual care plan.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities using diagnostic tests to inform treatment approaches.
• Administer a range of therapeutic exercises, manual interventions, traction, and other physical agents in line with clinician directives.
• Oversee and provide guidance to physical therapy assistants to ensure compliance with treatment protocols and quality care standards.
• Regularly assess patients' progress and adjust treatment plans based on observed developments and patient feedback.
• Implement recommendations for home modifications to enhance patient rehabilitation and independence.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, meeting compliance standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Educate patients and families on managing pain and enhancing mobility through therapeutic practices and the use of assistive devices.
• Ensure timely submission of clinical and administrative documentation in line with organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Valid CPR certification and a driver's license with automobile insurance.
