This immediate hiring opportunity offers a rewarding role where you will provide essential support and personalized care to individuals in a variety of settings, including private homes, and assisted living communities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting any irregularities to healthcare professionals promptly.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and sanitation tasks.
• Support medication administration following HIPAA regulations and care plans established by healthcare providers.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and social engagement.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's beds to ensure safe patient transfers and mobility assistance.

Skills:

• Proven experience in home health, hospice care, assisted living, or long-term care environments.
• Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, vital signs measurement, and medication administration.
• Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
• Experience with care planning, assisted living procedures, and social work practices is highly desirable.
