Job Responsibilities

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create personalized therapy regimens that empower them to reach their functional milestones.

• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Engage closely with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded, holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Teach therapy strategies to patients and their caregivers to cultivate ongoing progress beyond the clinical setting.
• Track Patient Progress: Collect and document clinical outcomes while modifying treatment approaches as necessary to maintain a trajectory toward recovery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continuing education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications Required

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory
