Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional aspirations
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply proven therapeutic techniques to improve motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver complete and holistic care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide guidance to patients and caregivers on therapy methods to encourage ongoing progress in everyday environments
• Document and Monitor Progress: Keep track of clinical outcomes and refine treatment approaches to ensure sustained patient success

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Ongoing education and advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
