Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Allegheny Family Connection Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments to identify mental health disorders and therapy needs. Leading individual, couple, and family therapy sessions tailored to address emotional and relational issues. Implementing treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help clients achieve their goals. Facilitating group therapy sessions to address common issues such as grief, substance abuse, and familial conflicts. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and specialists to provide integrated care and make appropriate referrals. Maintaining accurate and confidential records of client interactions and treatment progress in an electronic health record system. Participating in regular clinical supervision and continuing education opportunities to enhance your professional clinical skills. Patient Population / Client Focus In your role at Allegheny Family Connection Center, you will work with a diverse clientele facing various life challenges. Your clients may include individuals affected by substance abuse, families dealing with conflicts and separation, and couples navigating the complexities of remarriage and blended family dynamics. Your adept understanding of issues such as grief, job stress, and psychological abuse will enable you to provide the support they need to foster positive change and personal growth. Qualifications Active and valid Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Texas. A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and techniques applicable to marriage and family therapy. Excellent communication skills and a genuine compassion for counseling. Preferred Experience Prior experience providing telehealth services is preferred. Experience working with diverse populations and in various settings will be an advantage. Familiarity with electronic health records and teletherapy platforms enhances client care efficiency. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
