Office Administrator (Cambridge)

Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily office operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting various administrative functions. This role requires strong computer skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year Duties Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling multi-line phone systems Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and Simply Accounting (Sage 50). Handle filing systems and ensure documents are organized and easily accessible Provide customer support through phone, email, and in-person interactions with professionalism and courtesy Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and billing using Simply Accounting. Proofread correspondence and documents for accuracy and clarity Support administrative tasks including typing, proofreading, and maintaining office supplies Maintain a clean and organized work workplace to promote efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service experience Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, filing procedures, and front desk operations Previous experience with bookkeeping or basic accounting is preferred Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to proofread documents thoroughly Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team This position offers an excellent prospect for individuals seeking a dynamic administrative role that combines clerical expertise with customer service.
