Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational support groups that foster community and offer educational resources related to mental health issues.
\n
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and coordinated care.

• Offer crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring emergency protocols are followed to maintain client safety.

• Guide clients in understanding their mental health conditions and available treatment options while connecting them with community resources for additional support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional development.

• Stay informed about current research and advancements in mental health therapy to apply innovative practices in your work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse individuals, couples, and families experiencing various mental health conditions. Our clients come from different backgrounds and face unique challenges, providing an enriching opportunity to enhance your therapeutic skills and cultural competence.

Qualifications\n

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.

• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches to create impactful interventions.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting mental health assessments, treatment plan development, and delivering effective therapy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, demonstrating sound judgment and adherence to ethical guidelines.

• Competency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technological tools.

• A strong desire to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for patients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
