Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each process with empathy
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring providers to ensure the highest standards of diagnostic imaging
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any operational issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain organized patient records in our electronic medical system
• Keep up-to-date with the latest techniques and innovations in ultrasound imaging

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related healthcare field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program is preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
