Pediatric Sonographer

Saint Louis, Missouri, in the department of Imaging Services. This is a full-time position with a schedule of days. The salary range is $51.96 to $53.53 per hour, based on job qualifications and relevant work experience.

Sign-on bonus of $5000 for eligible applicants. The schedule is as follows:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
• Week 2: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with limited weekend and holiday requirements. Pediatric experience is not required, and there is no on-call duty. New grads are welcome to apply.

Role Purpose: The registered diagnostic sonographer performs ultrasound imaging including abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders and assists with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.). May also perform vascular imaging.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment.
• Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures.
• Performs studies independently, may perform studies on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Associate or trade school equivalent.
• Experience: No experience required.
• Supervisor experience: No experience required.
• Licenses & Certifications: RDMS or equivalent.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience: 2 years.
• Licenses & Certifications: RDCS or equivalent.
