Accounting Clerk

Description We Are Looking For A detail-oriented, organized Accounting Clerk to support the financial operations of our multi-location, local healthcare company. This role requires accuracy and follow-through in managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, processing payments, maintaining records, and communicating effectively with vendors, clients, and internal teams. Responsibilities Accounts Payable (AP) Process, verify, code, and enter vendor invoices; schedule and process ACH/EFT and check payments Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice, payment, and account discrepancies Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain accurate AP records Accounts Receivable (AR) Prepare and process accurate client invoices and billing Post and apply customer payments, including checks, cash, and ACH transactions Monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on past-due accounts, and support collections Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies with internal teams Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and maintain accurate AR records Accounting & Administrative Support Perform accounting data entry and maintain organized financial records Provide general administrative support, including mail distribution, office supply ordering, and record maintenance Requirements What will you need to succeed? Associate degree, coursework in accounting or business, or 1-2 years of general accounting or clerical finance experience preferred Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Experience with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work independently or collaboratively Competencies Sharp eye for detail Accuracy-focused Critical thinking Time management and follow-through Perks Not only are we committed to offering excellent company benefits, but we also have the added perk of working in a flexible, respectful, and supportive team environment.
