Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Bariatric Med-Surg Unit
Our organization in Savannah, GA is looking for a dedicated and empathetic Registered Nurse to join our Bariatric Med-Surg team. This role involves delivering thorough pre-operative and post-operative care for bariatric and medical-surgical patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting comprehensive assessments and monitoring of patients.
- Administering medications and providing wound care.
- Educating patients on necessary lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient-centered care.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of patient care.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Experience in bariatric or medical-surgical nursing preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
This position is situated in a dynamic healthcare setting, where teamwork and patient care are prioritized. The role may involve shifts that include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
