About the Role

We're hiring a GTM Engineer to build the data, systems, and growth infrastructure behind Avoca's next stage of growth.

Our ambition is to build a world-class GTM engine. We're looking for someone excited to build AI-powered systems that give a small team enormous leverage and have an outsized impact on revenue.

You'll build the engine behind our outbound motion: mapping and enriching our target market, finding the signals that indicate which accounts are most likely to buy, and turning those signals into relevant outreach and timely action for our Sales team. You'll also build and scale our autonomous outbound email program from the ground up, using AI-powered workflows to run personalized campaigns to thousands of accounts, while maintaining strong sending infrastructure and deliverability.

Beyond outbound, you'll build the data pipelines, integrations, automations, and internal tools that make our Growth and Sales teams more effective. This is a builder-operator role: you'll put the systems you create into practice, learn from their performance, and keep improving them. We're looking for someone with the technical ability to build complex systems and the commercial judgment to focus that work on qualified pipeline and revenue.

You'll report directly to the Head of Growth and work closely with Sales and RevOps to turn better data, signals and workflows into pipeline.

What You'll Do

• Build, run, and scale our autonomous outbound email engine end-to-end: from campaign strategy and execution to sending infrastructure, deliverability, measurement, and optimization - turning it into a major source of qualified pipeline
• Build and ship AI agents and GTM workflows for prospect research, account prioritization, personalization, content development and other repeatable work; continuously identify new opportunities to automate and expect to launch new agents regularly
• Map and enrich Avoca's total addressable market, building the reliable account and contact data that powers our campaigns and outbound SDR motion
• Identify, test, and activate buying signals that surface the right accounts at the right time and trigger relevant outreach or rep action
• Build the integrations, automations, and internal tools that connect our data sources, CRM, enrichment providers, outbound platforms, and Sales workflows
• Partner closely with SDRs, Sales, and RevOps to improve targeting, lead routing, rep productivity, and the conversion of signals into pipeline
• Evaluate our GTM technology stack and decide what to buy, build or automate

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of experience in GTM engineering, growth ops, outbound, or another technical GTM role in a B2B environment
• A track record of building and operating large-scale outbound email programs that generated qualified pipeline
• Deep knowledge of outbound infrastructure and deliverability, including domain and inbox provisioning, authentication, warm-up, rotation, bounce management, and sender reputation
• Demonstrated expertise building AI-powered workflows for research, segmentation, personalization or campaign execution
• Hands-on experience building sophisticated workflows in tools such as Clay, Claude Code, n8n, Make, Zapier, Smartlead, or similar platforms
• Strong technical foundations and comfort working with APIs, webhooks, data integrations, and conditional logic; working knowledge of SQL, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience building, enriching, and maintaining large account and contact datasets using multiple data providers and enrichment waterfalls
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to turn customer, market, and behavioral data into repeatable growth systems that create pipeline

Bonus Points

• Experience building signal-based outbound for a mid-market sales motion
• Experience supporting or working closely with a scaled SDR organization
• Experience in vertical SaaS, home services, or another market with a large, identifiable universe of target businesses
• Experience building agentic workflows, AI-powered internal tools, or autonomous GTM systems from scratch

Compensation: The expected on target earnings for this role is $160,000-$210,000 with final compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications determined during the interview process. Avoca's total compensation package includes base salary, bonus, equity, and a comprehensive suite of benefits and perks.
