Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Anesthetist)

Duties

Provides the full range of anesthesia services, Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC), General Anesthesia and Regional Anesthesia.

Determines the optimal type and method of anesthesia care to administer for a broad range of surgical procedures.

Coordinates/enrolls/prepares advanced ECG Holter and event monitoring for patient home use.

Responsible for technical adequacy of all cardiac studies performed.

Provides orientation and technical demonstrations of echocardiographic imaging techniques to include rotating residents and medical students as requested, when they rotate on the local medical treatment facility Pediatric Cardiology service.

Performs full range of complex and high quality non-invasive congenital and fetal cardiac echocardiographic studies.
