Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care pathways
• Identifying and managing both acute and chronic health conditions in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (as per credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and families on prevention strategies, wellness practices, and chronic disease management

Education Criteria

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Credentials

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Virginia
• National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire these within 90 days)
