Senior Solution Architect

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect for a 12-month contract position based in Jacksonville, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to design and evaluate enterprise-scale technical solutions in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect enterprise solutions with a focus on high-volume, resilient applications
- Develop and evaluate technical architectures including clustering, load balancing, caching, and replication strategies
- Lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives and technical evaluations to validate architectural approaches
- Guide solution design across multiple technology stacks and platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with security, scalability, and business requirements
- Contribute to software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile practices within the organization
Qualifications
- Required
- 8+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or Enterprise Architecture
- Strong DevOps expertise with Jenkins, Ansible, Git/Bitbucket, Artifactory, and SonarQube
- Broad technical background across Linux, Windows, Java, .NET, Python, and JavaScript
- Experience designing high-volume, resilient application architectures
- Security architecture knowledge including OAuth/OIDC, token-based authentication, and encryption
- Hands-on experience with proof-of-concept development and technical evaluation
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Preferred
- Previous experience at Bank of America
- Financial industry experience
