Senior Accountant

Overview Accounts professional with independent work style and strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and adaptability to other accounting software. Analyze general ledgers, perform monthly bank reconciliations, read financial statements, examine ledger accounts and supporting documentation to identify errors, discrepancies, and areas for improvement for the client. Responsibilities Analyze general ledgers and prepare financial analyses. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of accounting records. Read and interpret financial statements; assess general ledger accounts and supporting documentation for errors and areas of improvement. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients or internal stakeholders. Qualifications Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience and financial analysis in Governmental entities and Non-Profits. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or CIA certification preferred. General ledger accounting principles and financial management practices. Proficient in using auditing software and tools; excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
