Senior Accountant

firstPRO is partnering with a well-established organization seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. Looking to hire ASAP! $70K – $80K salary (or $35–$38.50/hour) Outstanding benefits package , including: Employer‑funded pension (6% contribution) Health insurance largely covered Generous PTO Hybrid schedule (onsite first 2–3 months, then 3 days/week onsite) Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts in accordance with GAAP Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Perform detailed reconciliations (cash, prepaid, intercompany, etc.) Assist with audit and tax support (including 1099s and related filings) Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Prepare financial reports and perform ad hoc analysis using Excel Partner with internal teams and support ongoing process improvements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) 5+ years of accounting experience Strong general ledger and month‑end close experience Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset Excellent communication and organizational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr firstPRO, Inc
