About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Account Management to spearhead the expansion efforts within its top 100 customers. This leadership role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, particularly with the introduction of a new AI solution. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Account Managers, focusing on creating and closing net-new revenue within existing accounts. Key responsibilities include owning team expansion revenue, hiring and developing the account management team, and driving the adoption and expansion of AI-driven capabilities. The role demands a strategic approach to account planning, a strong emphasis on building executive-level relationships, and the ability to operate in a dynamic, evolving environment. Applicants for the Head of Account Management position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in account management, enterprise sales, or expansion-focused roles within B2B SaaS. A proven track record of meeting growth or expansion targets, experience in selling multi-product solutions, and the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders are essential. The ideal candidate will have a history of closing six-figure deals and a background in coaching teams to achieve similar success. Experience in selling AI or automation offerings is a strong plus. The role is not suited for leaders with a transactional or SMB-focused sales approach, those who prioritize renewals or retention, or individuals who require a defined playbook and stable organizational structure to be effective.
