Position Title Assistant / Associate Professor of Automotive Engineering Technology Position Overview The Department of Applied Engineering Technology (AET) in the College of Science and Technology invites applications for a 9‑month, tenure‑track faculty position in Automotive Technology or a closely related field, beginning August 2026. The position is anticipated at the Assistant Professor level, though exceptionally qualified candidates may be considered for appointment at a higher rank. The successful candidate will establish a collaborative and innovative research program in areas such as electric and hybrid vehicle systems, artificial intelligence and autonomous vehicles, advanced vehicle efficiency and sustainability, smart manufacturing, and human–machine interaction, and will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence and scholarly achievement. Work Arrangement Position requires on‑site work; remote or hybrid arrangements may be considered consistent with university and state policies.
