Customer Service Representative

Location Horizon Chandler, AZ - H115; 4055 West Saturn Way, Chandler, Arizona - 85226. Hours & Pay Pay: $20.50/hour and up to $2,500 through performance bonuses in the summer. Work Hours: Monday-Friday 5:30am-1:30pm or 7:30am-4:00pm. Job Summary The Customer Service Representative (CSR) empowers our customers to build, manage, and grow successful landscape businesses by providing product knowledge, recommendations to improve bottom line, and exceptional service. The CSR is the face of the sales center and primary point of contact for walk‑ins, phone orders, and service calls. Responsibilities Greet walk‑in and phone customers, listening to understand their needs and challenges. Treat customers as business partners by recommending product solutions, upsell options, and complementary items. Collaborate with team members and utilize company resources to sell Horizon's value and deliver best service. Prepare sales orders and assist customers in selecting and loading merchandise. Make follow‑up calls to prospects and existing customers to introduce opportunities and solicit additional business. Resolve customer complaints professionally and in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, well‑organized, well‑stocked sales center. Assist in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Strong customer‑service attitude. Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented personality. Thrives in a fast‑paced environment focused on serving business owners with urgent needs. Clear communication in spoken and written words, asks questions, thinks critically to find solutions. Cooperative, dependable team player. Good computer, record‑keeping skills, and aptitude to learn evolving systems, programs, handheld technology, and processes. Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs; forklift certification required. Must be 18 years of age or older. Position is safety‑sensitive and may involve tasks affecting safety. Preferred: High school diploma or GED, Bilingual (English/Spanish), Irrigation experience, knowledge of other landscape products.
