As part of their strategic expansion, they are now seeking a Commercial Director – USA to establish and drive growth in one of their most important regions.

The Role

This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial leadership position for an experienced commercial executive with deep roots in the pharmaceutical or healthcare automation sector.

The Sales Director – USA will be responsible for leading all commercial activities in the region, driving revenue growth, and managing the full P&L. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, and thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for the U.S. market.
• Own the regional P&L, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
• Develop and nurture relationships with major pharmaceutical companies and industry stakeholders.
• Lead business development initiatives to expand market share.
• Collaborate with global leadership to align regional activities with corporate objectives.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing commercial and support team.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to guide innovation and product development.
• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and governance standards (FDA, GMP, etc.).

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 8–15 years of experience in senior commercial or business development roles within pharmaceutical machinery, inspection systems, or healthcare automation.
• Proven track record of selling complex technical solutions to top-tier pharma clients.
• Strong understanding of FDA and GMP regulatory environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build and scale a business from the ground up.
• Ability to travel extensively (up to 80% of the time).
• Experience in machine vision, inspection, or packaging technologies is highly desirable.
