Role Overview Product Manager, Sales & Marketing Capabilities – responsible for owning the product vision, strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, and outcomes for sales and marketing content experiences across Capital Group. Key Responsibilities Own enterprise capabilities that power sales and marketing content experiences. Define and manage the product vision, strategy, and multi‑quarter roadmap in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Operations, IT, and Leadership. Translate business processes and go‑to‑market objectives into scalable, user‑centered capabilities that drive sales productivity and content effectiveness. Oversee the product lifecycle from discovery through delivery and post‑launch optimization, including translating business needs into product requirements. Manage vendor relationships and partner with IT for delivery, ensuring feasibility and integration with architecture. Drive user adoption and change management, continuously improving the product based on data and user feedback. Turn loosely defined business challenges into structured problem statements and prioritized initiatives, acting as the connective tissue between stakeholders, users, and technology teams. Advocate for sales and marketing users within the organization. Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in enterprise product management or product strategy. Demonstrated ownership of vision, roadmap, and delivery outcomes. Strong expertise in defining strategy, building roadmaps, translating business needs into product requirements, and guiding initiatives from concept through delivery and ongoing operations. Ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into clear problem definitions, opportunity assessments, and actionable roadmaps informed by business processes, industry trends, and vendor ecosystems. Experience managing vendor and partner relationships, including product governance, contract alignment, and external roadmap coordination. Track record of defining success metrics, driving user adoption, and continuously improving product performance through data and insights. Strong organizational discipline for complex initiatives—clarifying scope, sequencing work, aligning stakeholders, and managing cross‑functional dependencies. Influence and build alignment across business and technical teams without formal authority. Knowledge of financial services, asset management, or sales and distribution processes. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field. Compensation and Benefits Southern California base salary range: $141,648–$226,637. In addition to a highly competitive base salary, you will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, a profitability bonus, and a retirement plan with a 15% employer contribution to a qualified retirement account.
