HVAC Service Technician (Ductless Mini Split)

AIR NYC is a HVAC design and installation company. We specialize in Mini split heat pump and VRF for residential and commercial properties. Our dedication to product knowledge and customer relationship building is a source of continuing pride and success. MR. AIR NYC prides itself on a reputation for top quality team, installation, and service work within a guaranteed timeline. We are looking for a HVAC Service Technician that has experience in maintenance and service mini‑split units. We will develop you to become part of our team and grow with us. You have past experience in an HVAC service technician role and hold an EPA certification. A team player who is comfortable working independently, you love the feeling of a job well done and take pride in completing customer jobs with efficiency. A positive attitude is a must. Responsibilities: Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, deep cleaning units, or refilling non‑toxic refrigerants. Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction. Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge. Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment. Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring. Qualifications: Past experience as an HVAC service technician. Experience in Ductless Mini Split system. Valid Driver’s License. EPA Certification. Experience with operation and maintenance of heat pumps, air handlers, and central systems. Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds. Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
