Work Environment\n

This position is remote-based, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a connection to the vibrant Chesapeake education community. Our team operates under a flexible schedule in alignment with school hours, specifically Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Occasionally, evening shifts may be required based on the school's operational needs, and there may be rotating weekends scheduled to ensure comprehensive mental health service coverage. On-call availability may also be necessary to address urgent mental health situations that arise.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for students, taking into account individual histories, presenting concerns, and risk factors to formulate an accurate diagnosis.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with students, promoting emotional well-being and successful integration into the school environment.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to offer coordinated and holistic care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
