Market Development Specialist II

Market Development Specialist II role focused on implementing technology scouting initiatives and building external innovator partnerships. The position involves developing global scouting efforts, evaluating opportunities, managing technology submissions, and supporting cross-functional collaboration within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global technology scouting initiatives to position company as commercial partner
- Create robust evaluation processes for web-based technology submissions and track market trends
- Facilitate engagement between internal innovation teams and external innovators
- Support internal marketing of innovation resources and create web content for scouting activities
- Assist with federal invention reporting and in- and out-licensing process development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with some company environment experience
- Life Sciences or related field preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with databases such as Deal Cloud or Wellspring Scout
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships
Compensation: $66,000–$82,100 base
