Accounting Manager

Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a growing, multi-entity organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting operations, lead a small team, and drive process improvements in a dynamic, evolving environment. This role offers the opportunity to influence accounting practices, strengthen internal processes, and partner cross-functionally across the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead core accounting functions including general ledger activity, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
• Oversee cost-related accounting activities and inventory processes, working cross-functionally to investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Manage, mentor, and develop a small accounting team, fostering growth and accountability
• Direct and improve the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Review complex account reconciliations and ensure integrity of balance sheet accounts
• Ensure all financial reporting aligns with U.S. GAAP requirements and internal standards
• Prepare and review schedules and documentation to support audits and regulatory filings
• Contribute to the development and refinement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Ensure adherence to applicable regulations and reporting requirements at all levels

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Experience in manufacturing, cost accounting, and/or multi-entity environments preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standard
• Proven experience leading and developing accounting team
• Hands-on experience managing month-end close processed
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
