Senior Solutions Engineer - Cloud Focused

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• Comprehensive knowledge of Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) engineering, including restoration practices and standards development.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing long-haul and metro fiber networks, including splicing and construction of Points of Presence (POPs).
• Familiarity with requirements set by hyperscalers, including route diversity and network security compliance.
• Proficiency in interpreting and creating AutoCAD designs, GIS/GDB files, and as-built documentation.
• Understanding of the project lifecycle from permitting to acceptance for extensive fiber projects.
• Excellent communication skills for making client presentations and engaging in negotiations.

• Serve as the primary technical consultant and solution architect for key accounts needing extensive data transport and infrastructure solutions.
• Create detailed designs for long-haul and metro fiber solutions, covering ILA builds and diverse routing paths.
• Lead the technical aspects of RFP/RFI processes, proposals, and strategic planning meetings.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and operations, to validate feasibility and cost estimates.
• Maintain expertise in OSP/ISP standards and new technologies in hyperscale connectivity.
• Work on planning and executing the build and deployment for ILA sites and fiber path diversity.
• Produce technical documentation, including design diagrams and equipment specifications.
• Provide training and thought leadership to sales and engineering teams regarding trends in long-haul infrastructure.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as required for this position.
