Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Shift: 4x10 Variable Shifts

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Active New York license required

1+ year of experience required

BLS, ACLS certification required (AHA)

EPIC experience required

Provide nursing care in the cardiac catheterization lab for adult and geriatric patients.

Monitor and assess patients undergoing cardiac procedures, including STEMI, PTCA, and diagnostic catheterizations.

Administer medications and manage common drips such as verapamil, nitro, and cardizem.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Assist with advanced cardiac interventions, including the use of balloon pumps and closure devices.

Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records.

May require floating to Electrophysiology Lab and Pod D recovery as needed.
