Outside Sales Representative - Climate Control

Job Summary Outside Sales Representative – HVAC & Commercial. As an Outside Sales Representative for Sunbelt Rentals, Climate Control Service, you will be responsible for renting and selling our diverse line of portable air conditioners, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and temporary heaters within your assigned territory. Responsibilities Rent and sell HVAC equipment to commercial customers, contractors, event companies, and other partners. Develop existing accounts and generate new business opportunities. Collaborate closely with Sales Reps and Managers across divisions to provide turn‑key solutions using Sunbelt’s wide array of equipment and services. Maximize penetration into both new and existing customer bases. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or equivalent experience in equipment rental or the HVAC industry. 2+ years of direct sales experience. Current and valid driver’s license in good standing, with proof of auto insurance. Project management, new business development, and customer retention skills. Track record in solution‑selling with high volume sales experience. Physical Requirements Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 25 pounds or more. Requires working indoors or outdoors as required by the job. Compensation Base Pay Range: $40,000.00 – $62,965.00. Total compensation package includes base pay, a company vehicle, and a robust commission plan. Starting rate of pay may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience.
