Administrative Assistant

Elliott Electric Supply

Dispatch/Customer Service Admin: Hours: M-F, 8AM-5PM The Customer Service Admin is responsible for answering all incoming calls in the warehouse office and assisting all salesmen, managers, and/or customers with any requests/issues that might arise concerning the warehouse to completion. Transfer calls to appropriate department or personnel and maintain a call log to determine the volume and nature of the calls. Prioritize orders by delivery date, shipement menthod and truck departure route scheduled to ensure customer deadlines are met. Assign orders to Pickers after determining availability of Pickers and equipment and current number of orders assigned. Sort and distribute ship tickets, pick tickets and purchase orders to their assigned designated bins. Analyze picking times to ensure Pickers are staying efficient based on average picking times. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. A minimum of one year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products beneficial or preferred. Excellent customer service skills to include proper phone etiquette and positive demeanor with customers and excellent verbal/written communication skills. Basic familiarity with the use of a personal computer. Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, including an ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Ability to perform duties with minimal or no supervision. Must be an energetic team player and able to work with diverse personalities. Physical Requirements: Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone. Ability to bend, climb, push, and pull, including the ability to maneuver at heights and in tight or small places. Ability to routinely lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 70 lbs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
