Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Chemistry

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee to perform chemistry testing, instrument operation, and quality control in Burlington, NC. Full training provided for qualified candidates with a bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory science.
Responsibilities
- Assess specimen acceptability using established laboratory criteria
- Perform routine and complex chemistry procedures per departmental protocols
- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
- Execute preventative maintenance, quality control, and reagent evaluation procedures
- Document and report accurate test results in timely manner
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification (preferred)
- Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
- Ability to pass color blindness screening test
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
