Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients, ensuring a safe space for open communication and effective therapy.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans for clients based on comprehensive assessments, which include their mental health history and current challenges.

• Conduct regular counseling sessions, whether individually or within couples and family dynamics, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary based on client progress.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress through ongoing assessments, ensuring that goals are being met and making modifications to strategies as required.

• Utilize appropriate documentation practices by completing timely assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes while using electronic health record systems.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers as necessary to coordinate care, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive support across various services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Marriage and Family Therapist at Water Edge Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse clientele that includes adolescents, adults, and couples facing a range of mental health issues. You will utilize your skills to address challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and family disruptions, promoting healing and growth in a compassionate, client-centered manner.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) through the State Board is essential.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and couples therapy.
\n
• Experience working effectively with both children and adults in therapeutic settings.

• Demonstrated ability to complete client assessments and treatment plans accurately and efficiently.

• Strong writing and communication skills, combined with the ability to learn and navigate electronic health record systems promptly.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience as a licensed therapist.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
