Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: 100% On-site in the Sugar Creek area Compensation: $50,000-$55,000/yr. Position Summary We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented AP Specialist with 2-5 years of accounting experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with high-volume invoice processing, three-way matching, vendor management, payments, reconciliations, and strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs. This is a great opportunity for an AP professional looking to grow their accounting skill set and eventually advance into a Staff Accountant role. Key Responsibilities Process, code, and review high-volume invoices for accuracy and timely payment. Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and supporting documentation. Review and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues. Maintain vendor accounts and respond to vendor inquiries. Process payments and assist with payment runs. Perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies. Assist with month-end close and other general accounting tasks. Utilize Excel and accounting software to maintain accurate financial records. Qualifications 2-5 years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience. Experience with high-volume invoice processing and traditional AP functions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
