About the Role:
New Horizon Therapy is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to help as needed in a clinical environment.
PRN / As-needed.
Flexible scheduling.
Weekdays. No weekends.
Supportive therapy team.
A contract position. What Youll Do
Provide pediatric occupational therapy treatments under the direction of the OT
Follow through with written plans
Document treatments
Collaborate with therapy team as needed
Support a positive and engaging environment What Were Looking For
Active COTA license in Arizona
Strong documentation and communication skills
Reliable and flexible with scheduling Responsibilities:
- Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct therapy sessions.
- Document patient progress.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment for clients.
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
- Active state licensure in Arizona.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with pediatric clients.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs.
- Basic proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
