Litigation Paralegal

Growing Charlotte law firm with strong team culture and top notch benefits is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal with 3+ years of plaintiff's personal injury litigation experience . Candidates must have excellent verbal communication and writing skills, strong attention to detail and ability to interact with clients and be a team player.

Primary duties include:

• Assisting and handling all cases in litigation
• Drafting and filing complaints and related paperwork
• All aspects of discovery
• Maintaining litigation calendar and scheduling
• Assisting with motion, arbitration, mediation and trial preparation
• Writing and medical summaries and trial notebooks

Candidates must possess:

• Significant NC and/or SC  plaintiff’s personal injury litigation experience
• Ability to handle sensitive matters on a confidential basis
• A high degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion
• Ability to resolve conflicts and empathize with clients is critical
• High level organization and time management skills
• Ability to accomplish results and meet goals
• Self-management skills and the ability to hit the ground running
• Attention to detail
• Above average typing skills (50+ words per minute)
