Job Description We are looking for reliable, hardworking, and professional Pastry Chefs who possess knowledge of restaurant kitchen procedures, basic knife skills, and a solid understanding of food preparation and health‑code standards. The Pastry Chef works under the command and supervision of a senior kitchen staff member while preparing food items according to recipes and the Nobu Standard to ensure guest satisfaction. Candidates must be committed to customers, reliable to coworkers, and self‑motivated, organized, and detail‑oriented. Professional speaking and written communication skills, good time‑management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are required. Responsibilities Perform light food‑preparation duties. Prepare food for cooking, including washing, chopping, and other prep tasks. Ensure a proper supply of clean pots, pans, and cooking/serving utensils are available for kitchen staff. Clean work areas and all equipment used in food preparation. Qualifications Basic culinary coursework or equivalent experience highly preferred. Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices. Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed. Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Minimum one year of kitchen experience. Benefits
