Position Summary

Just 65 miles from Center City Philadelphia, Allentown is near many major Northeastern U.S. cities, which makes it an ideal location for manufacturing and distributing consumer goods. We utilize thermal processing and high-speed canning to produce varieties of our Friskies®, Beneful® and Pro Plan® brands—product lines that we have carefully produced, packaged, and shipped since 1958. As the Sr. Inventory Control Coordinator, you’re responsible for all operations to include directing and managing inventory control systems and paper flow. You’ll ensure all administrative requirements of the distribution center are controlled in accordance with established policy and procedure. All product trace recalls are coordinated in compliance with company regulations and with optimal utilization of the WMS system at a functional level for all warehouse crews.

This position requires working night shift (7pm - 3am).

• Coordinate the daily shipping documentation and providing resolutions

• Perform daily audit verification for correct processing of inventory movement regarding production, transfers receiving and shipments to outside warehouses

• Ensure data integrity in WMS

• Perform daily reporting and efficiency tracking

• Research inventory vacancies and perform inventory adjustments in liaison with accounting

• Verify missed shipments, determine procedures, and document issues

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

• 1+ years of inventory, logistics or administrative experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment

The approximate pay range for this position is $43,000 to $60,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
