Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ symptoms related to mood disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' specific needs, preferences, and clinical goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address client issues.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, potential treatment pathways, and effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers for integrated care, addressing any co-occurring disorders or medication management needs.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay current on best practices in mental health care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in team meetings and case consultations to discuss client care and share insights relevant to therapeutic practices.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness of mental health issues and assisting clients in navigating social services.

This role primarily focuses on clients experiencing mood disorders, including individuals from various backgrounds such as refugees, homeless individuals, and survivors of domestic violence. Qualifications\n
