Senior Administrative Assistant, Marketing

Roessel Joy is partnering with one of New England's leading commercial contractors to hire a Senior Administrative Assistant for their Marketing team. The team is growing its focus to include brand marketing, employee engagement and community engagement. This is a brand-new position and will be the fourth member of a growing marketing team! If you love planning events, keeping track of a hundred moving pieces and making sure every detail lands, this role is for you. The company is heading into a major milestone anniversary year, so there's a lot of exciting work ahead! What You'll Do Event Planning & Coordination Plan and run company events from start to finish, including food truck days, holiday and company parties, and a large milestone anniversary celebration Coordinate vendors, venues, catering, supplies and day-of logistics Track budgets, timelines, RSVPs and event details so nothing falls through the cracks Communications & Brand Support Draft press releases and internal announcements Help prepare and coordinate the quarterly company newsletter Support brand, employee engagement and community engagement initiatives Company Store & Merchandise Manage the company store and coordinate branded merchandise orders Work with vendors on ordering, pricing, inventory and delivery timelines Project & Team Coordination Build and maintain spreadsheets to track projects, orders and deadlines Keep projects and team members organized, on task and on schedule Give general administrative support to the Marketing team as needed What You Bring 3+ years of administrative, coordination or event planning experience Hands-on event planning experience (corporate events a big plus) Exceptional organization and attention to detail Comfort juggling multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong writing skills for press releases, newsletters and internal communications Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel A proactive, follow-through mindset and a positive, team-first attitude Nice to Have Experience in construction, engineering or another project-based industry Experience coordinating vendors, merchandise or promotional products Experience with newsletters, internal communications or community events Please Note This role is focused on coordination, logistics and execution. It is not a traditional executive assistant role (no calendar management, travel booking or expense processing), and it is not a traditional marketing career-track role.
